The 2025 Kia EV6 has arrived at showrooms across the country, and it’s once again redefining the electric crossover with its exciting new features. It has a new look, longer range, and quieter cabin this year, making it irresistible to drivers who want an electric SUV that drives like a dream.

Meet the 2025 Kia EV6

Once you get behind the wheel of the EV6, you might not want to leave. Its five-passenger cabin comes with remarkably comfortable seats trimmed in your choice of materials, ranging from the Light’s recycled fabric and SynTex synthetic leather to the GT’s Saturn Black SynTex Suede with Neon accents. Heated front seats and a dual-zone auto climate control keep you and your passengers comfortable year-round.

The EV6’s clean and modern interior features LED lighting and a 12.3-inch instrument display. There’s plenty of storage space for everything you need to bring along, including 24.4 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, plus extra storage under the center console. When you fold the 60/40 split rear seats, you can create up to 46.7 cubic feet of space to carry even larger items.

Exciting Powertrain Choices

With five trim levels and four powertrains to choose from, there’s an EV6 that’s just right for your driving style. The entry-level Light trim generates 167 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque with its permanent magnet AC synchronous motor, and it averages a manufacturer-estimated 115 MPGe combined efficiency.

Step up to the Light Long Range, Wind, or GT-Line, and you’ll enjoy 225 horsepower, 258 lb.-ft. of torque, and 114 MPGe combined efficiency. When equipped with all-wheel drive, these trims boast 320 horsepower, 446 lb.-ft. of torque, and 106 MPGe combined efficiency. The GT provides the ultimate in EV6 performance, with an incredible 601 horsepower, 545 lb.-ft. of torque, and 83 MPGe combined efficiency, giving it a 0 to 60 mph time of just 3.6 seconds.

What’s New This Year

The EV6 has a new look in the front and back for 2025, with new headlights and taillights, plus stylish new wheel designs. It also has added sound absorption materials to make its cabin quieter than ever.

This year, the EV6 gets larger lithium-ion battery options that provide even more range for every trim level. With its fully charged 63.0 kWh battery, the Light trim can travel 237 miles, according to Kia’s estimates. The other models have an 84.0 kWh battery that provides up to 319 miles of range. When you’re on the go, you can recharge your battery from 10 to 80 percent with a Level 3 DC fast charger in as little as 20 minutes.
